India’s defeat

Soon after Australia’s win against India in the World Cup semi-final, social media sites like Facebook and Twitter started buzzing with comments and posts, making fun of India’s defeat.
People celebrated India’s defeat and made fun of their cricketers. Personal remarks and offensive jokes were proudly shared. Since India had lost the match the celebrations were a must. However, this response on social media reflected nothing but our sense of insecurity.
