Forty injured as bus overturns From Our Correspondent MULTAN: Forty pilgrims sustained injuries when a speeding bus turned turtle on Multan-Muzaffargarh Road near Sarwarwali after its driver took a short nap while driving on Saturday, police said. The bus was carrying passengers from Sakhi Sarwar, Dera Ghazi Khan, to Ahmedpur on pilgrim a visit to shrines. The accident took place near the Head Muhammad Wala area of Multan. Rescue official Abdul Jabbar said four injured people, including three women and a man, were rushed to Nishtar Hospital in Multan, while first aid was provided to the remaining 36 at the spot. Those shifted to hospital had been identified as Naziran Mai, Shahida Bibi, Khizar Bibi and Sajid Hussein who, according to police, were in a critical condition. Police said the bus driver had escaped from the scene, while efforts were under way for his arrest.
