FAISALABAD: A flowers exhibition set-up at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad was concluded here on Saturday.
Chairing the concluding session, UAF Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that nature had blessed our nation with many talents. He said that the flowers exhibition was meant to spread the message of peace and harmony. Institute of Horticulture Sciences Director Prof Dr Muhammad Amjad also spoke. Ayub Agriculture Research Institute secured first position in the government and semi-government organisations category.
MUSLIM UMMAH ASKED TO UNITE ON ONE PLATFORM: The Muslim Ummah should be united on one platform to foil nefarious designs of anti-Islamic forces.
It was said by Jamaatud Dawa leader Mufti Abdur Rehman Abid while addressing at Ashra Mubashra Jamia Mosque at Ayub Colony on Friday night. He appealed to the government to extend full support to the Saudi Arabia in case of any aggression against the country. He said that the Saudi Arabia always stood with Pakistan in need of the hour and extended huge financial assistance to Pakistan. He said that anti-Islamic forces were trying to create unrest in the Saudi Arabia.
