LAHORE: Partly cloudy weather was observed in the city here Thursday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours. Met officials predicted that rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Fata, Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad Divisions), Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
Rainfall was recorded at several cities, including Malam Jabba 27mm, Lower Dir 06mm, Peshawar (AP 05mm, City 04mm), Parachinar 04mm, Kalam, Pattan, Balakot 03mm, Cherat, Dir 01mm, Bhakkar, Multan, Layyah, Shorkot 01mm and Astore 01mm.
Thursday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Sibbi where mercury reached 45°C while in Lahore, it was 34°C, minimum was 25.6°C and humidity level was 38 percent.
