Justice Khosa takes oath as acting CJP

ISLAMABAD: Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, senior most judge of the Supreme Court, on Monday took oath as acting Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP). The oath was administered by Justice Gulzar Ahmed in a ceremony held here in Supreme Court. Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa will act as CJP during the period Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, Chief Justice of Pakistan, remains abroad. The ceremony was attended by judges of the Supreme Court, senior lawyers and law officers. Officers and staff of the Supreme Court were also present on the occasion.
