Boy kills father

PESHAWAR: In a tragic incident on Monday, a 14-year-old boy killed his father inside a house for allegedly beating his mother and torturing kids.Superintendent of Police City Kokab Farooq told reporters that a woman told the Bhanamari police that her spouse Qasim from Landi Arbab was a drug addict and used to torture her and kids. On Monday, her son opened fire on Qasim in the house, killing him on the spot.

Police arrested the accused.

The accused told police that he was fed up with the treatment meted out to his mother by his father. “He used to beat my mother. He was a drug addict and had relations with other women,” the boy reportedly told police. He added that he had bought a pistol for Rs2000 and fired five bullets at his father.
