Nation should unite to stop a ‘new Mujib’: Qadri
LAHORE: PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on Monday said the nation must unite to stop a new Mujibur Rahman and added that those behind the Model Town killings were hell-bent to “kill” national security.
Addressing his party’s core committee meeting, Qadri claimed the National Security Committee’s statement was a proof of Nawaz’s national crime. But he added that only denouncement wasn’t enough, as decisive action was required.
He said no one should be allowed to play with Pakistan and the people’s future to protect the plunder by his family and personal interests.
Qadri alleged that Nawaz read out the written stance of Indian lobby in his interview and the noise made in India’s media proved the nexus. He also accused of coming into power with the help of Indian investment and claimed that Nawaz’s foreigner benefactors were shocked by his disqualification. He said Nawaz was saying that he stood by his statement, but the sitting PM was saying the interview was misinterpreted.
