Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan on Friday inaugurated an operation theatre complex and liver transplant facility at the Dow University of Health Sciences.
Talking to newsmen on the occasion, he said most of the patients preferred to travel to India for liver transplantation but now the facility was available at DUHS.
He said that this medical centre was one of a kind in Asia and will be connected to the best liver transplant centres of Turkey and Maryland, US. He also announced to donate funds for the treatment of 10 patients.
