ISLAMABAD: Abdul Rehman Muzammil’s century (113) put Multan in a strong position in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Grade II final against Karachi Blues at the Multan Stadium following second day Wednesday.
In response to Karachi Blues 154, Multan hit up 306 taking 153 runs first innings lead. Karachi Blues ended the day at 81 for 4 still requiring another 71 more runs to ask Multan bat again. Abdul Rehman smashed nine fours and three sixes during his 193-ball stay at the wicket to help Multan take lead. Waqar Hussain (89) also played well for Multan. Batting for the second time Karachi Blues again faced Aamir Yamin (2-16) attacking bowling that reduced tourists to 81 for 4 and in spot of other.
