‘MMA to form govt in KP’

LALAMUSA: A conference titled ‘Istaqbal-e-Ramazan’ was held at Jamia Masjid Thary Wali at late night on Tuesday. Addressing the moot, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab and president of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Mian Maqsood Ahmed urged the Muslims to pay special attention to the poor and their children. Women also attended the conference. Later, talking to reporters, he said the MMA would form its government in KP and in Punjab the MMA would show surprising performance. Maqsood said the MMA would start its campaign from the Minar-e-Pakistan on May 13. JI District Amir Dr Tariq Saleem and the JI Amir Lalamusa also addressed the moot.
