KARAK: Opposition members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Karak tehsil council submitted no-trust motion request with the tehsil municipal officer against the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Tehsil Nazim Abdul Wahab to remove him from his office. The motion was submitted by the opposition leader Asim Khattak in presence of his party's councillors. After submitting the requisition, the tehsil councillor told reporters that they need only 10 members for the success of no-confidence move. "And we are enjoying the support of 12 councillors," he added. He criticised the attitude of the tehsil nazim with the councillors and claimed that he was not providing development funds to the councillors.
Meanwhile, the TMO tehsil municipal officer Abdul Waheed Khattak as called a meeting of the tehsil council for May 11 to provide an opportunity to the opposition councillors to show their majority in the council. Tehsil Nazim Abdul Wahab told the media that he was still enjoying the majority of the council and added that a single councillor of his party would not support the opposition's no-trust motion.
