LAHORE: Dry weather prevailed in the city here Wednesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. They predicted that mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Kalat Division.
Rainfall was recorded at several cities, including Dir, Saidu Sharif, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Garhi Dupatta, Sahiwal, Toba Tek Singh, Shorkot, Faisalabad, Jhang, Bunji and Bagrote. Wednesday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Shaheed Benazirabad, Turbat and Sakrand where mercury reached 43°C while in Lahore, maximum temperature was 35°C, minimum 22°C and humidity level was 35 percent.
