NOWSHERA: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on Tuesday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is fielding strong candidates across the province in the next general election.
Speaking at a public gathering in Nowshera Cantonment, he said that the PTI would form government in all four provinces and centre as the party’s popularity was record high. He said that leaders of all other parties had amassed huge personal fortunes.
“Now PTI Chairman Imran Khan has created awareness among the people and encouraged them to question the government policies,” he added. He said that his government had launched uniformed development schemes across KP. The leaders’ job was to improve the governance system and formulate policies but Pakistani leaders prefer undertaking the job of local governments, he went on to add.
Pervez Khattak said that the traditional political parties had been active with different slogans while PTI had challenged that mindset and was facing opposition from opponents for raising voice for the poor. He added that the voters should also change their thinking and must vote honest people.
