KARACHI: Left-arm international spinner Zulfiqar Babar captured 5-50 to enable Multan to bowl Karachi out for 154 in their first innings on the opening day of their four-day Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Grade-II final at the Multan Stadium in Multan on Tuesday.
Ashiq Ali scored 47 off 97 balls, striking six fours. Mohammad Asghar made 33 off 72 balls, hitting two fours. Fahadis Bukhari scored 23 from 54 deliveries, with two boundaries.Multan were 71-2 in response at stumps with Waqar Hussain batting on 32 in which he had hit five fours.
