LAHORE: Army and Wapda proceeded to the final of men’s team event in the 1st Punjab Food Authority (PFA), Table Tennis Tournament 2018 beating Punjab and Chromatex teams respectively in the semifinals, whereas Wapda and Chromatex women teams qualified for the finals of the women’s team event beating Sindh and Punjab teams respectively in the semifinals.
In the men’s team events, Wapda beat Punjab Team by 3-2, M. Hamza (Pb) beat Abdul Rahim (Wapda) 3-1, Jahangir Khan (Wapda) beat Hafeezur Rehman (Pb) by 3-1, Bilal Yasin (Wapda) beat M. Arbeel (Pb) by 3-0, M. Hamza (Pb) beat Jahangir Khan (Wapda) by 3-1, Abdul Rahim (Wapda) beat Hafeez ur Rehman (Pb) by 3-0.
Army beat Chromatex Team by 3-1; Taimoor Khan (Chroma) beat M. Afzal (Pak Army) by 3-1, Faizan Zahoor (Pak Army) beat Awais Hassan (Chroma) by 3-1, Umam Khawaja (Pak Army) beat Nazim Hussain (Chroma) by 3-2. M. Afzal (Pak Army) beat Awais Hassan (Chroma) by 3-0.
In women’s team event, Wapda beat Sindh Team by 3-0, Ayesha (Wapda) beat Atiqa (Sindh) by 3-0, Sadia (Wapda) beat Iqra Saeed (Sindh) by 3-0, Mehmooda (Wapda) beat Qurrat ul Ain (Pb) by 3-0.
