LAHORE: Punjab government on Friday approved another Rs 6.637 billion scheme for the provision of laptops, and construction of a dam in Jhelum. The approved development schemes are: Provision of Laptops (Revised) at a cost of Rs 6.637 billion; Construction of Pandori Dam, Jhelum district, (second revised) at a cost of Rs 1210.320 million; Strengthening of Programme Management Unit (PMU) for Punjab Resource Management Programme (PRMP) at a cost of Rs 996.838 million and Rehabilitation of Hakra Branch RD: 0+000 to 286+920, Bahawalnagar, at a cost of Rs 986.104 million.
