School asked to refund overcharged fee in 7 days
PESHAWAR: The Private Schools Regulatory Authority officials have formally started inspections of schools to know the implementation of the regulations and the Peshawar High Court judgment.
The aim was to know if the school was complying with the fee rules - tuition fee for siblings, charging during vacations, increase in annual fee not over three per cent, promotion fee and transport charges during vacation, etc. Qadims Lumiere Private School, University Town, was inspected. The administration had not implemented the fee discount policy for sibling.
Officers of the authority directed the school administration to return the fee charged in seven days. Ater the stipulated period, the institution will be inspected again to ensure compliance. The school administration assured the officials to refund the excessive fees to the parents.
