7 transvestites given driving licences in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: As many as seven members of the transgender community completed driving course at Traffic Warden Driving School for the first time and got their certificates.
Online taxi services have also offered them employment while they were completing their course. SSP Traffic Yasir Afridi distributed certificates among the transvestites. Some 300 men and women also completed the course.
Yasir Afridi said that seven members of the transgender community completed the course. He said that separate classes and vehicles were also specified for the transgender persons in the driving school.
