DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A man allegedly axed his wife to death in Hassanabad area here on Tuesday. It was learnt that one Allah Datta, after exchanging harsh, allegedly struck his wife, Wazeeran Bibi, 47, with axe and bricks in Jhok Dhapanwala falling in the limits of the Cantonment Police Station. She died on the spot. The accused fled the scene. The officials of the Rescue-1122 reached the spot and shifted the body to the hospital. The police registered a case and started investigation.
