LALAMUSA: The number of students in 1,397 government schools has increased by 316,000 in Gujrat district. It was stated by DC Muhammad Ali Randhawa while addressing the monthly meeting of the Education’s District Review Committee here on Sunday. The DC said that more than 11,000 teachers were performing duties at the schools. For effective monitoring, all AEOs and DEOs should make monthly schedule, he added.
