KARACHI: The full schedule for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and Wales will be announced on Thursday (today).
“The 10-team Cricket World Cup will be held between May 30 and July 14 next summer, and fixture details of all 48 matches will be officially revealed by the ICC tomorrow,” ICC announced on its website on Wednesday.
Eight teams secured direct entry on the cut-off date of September 30, 2017: hosts England, Australia, Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka. In March, Afghanistan and West Indies booked the final two slots, finishing as the top two teams in the World Cup Qualifier.
