Five soldiers injured in DI Khan bomb blast
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Five security personnel sustained injuries in a remote controlled bomb blast in Daraban area in the district, official sources said on Tuesday.
They said that miscreants had planted an explosive device on a roadside in Zarkani village to target the security forces. The sources said the bomb exploded when a vehicle of security forces was passing through the area.
As a result, the sources said, five soldiers were wounded in the incident. The injured soldiers were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dera, the sources added. The wounded security personnel were identified as Muhammad Ismail, Abid, Khurram, Nazir and Khurram. Meanwhile, security forces cordoned off the areas and started search for the miscreants involved in the attack.
