KARACHI: Army, WAPDA and Higher Education Commission (HEC) extended their winning streak when they recorded their second successive wins on the second day of the National Handball Championship at the Agriculture University, Faisalabad, on Tuesday.
Army beat Police 55-14, WAPDA routed Punjab 49-15 and HEC overwhelmed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 32-7 to maintain their supremacy.In another game, Railways defeated Balochistan.
On the first day on Monday, Railways had beaten Punjab 27-24, HEC whacked Police 28-26, WAPDA crushed Balochistan 52-9 and Army downed KP 23-4.Army, Police, HEC and KP are in Group A, while Group B carries WAPDA, Punjab, Railways and Balochistan.
