Women Squash from 26th
LAHORE: The first Chief Minister Punjab National Women Squash Championship-2018 will start from April 26 here at Punjab Squash Complex Lahore.
Sheraz Saleem who just back from Gold Coast Australia from Commonwealth Games 2018, informed that after successful junior squash events now they have decided that women squash also needed to be promoted on high level. The event is for female players from all over Pakistan which play squash for five days in under 19 and senior women category.
On 26th April one day qualifying round for under 19 girls and then from 27 April the main round will start with draws of 16 for both senior and under 19 girls. Sheraz Saleem further said that a colorful opening ceremony will be held on April 27 afternoon while final of tournament will be played on April 30th. The event carries a Prize purse of Rs.150,000/ for both events.
