Artistes enthrall audience at GIK festival

SWABI: The three-day Arts Festival in Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology concluded here on Monday.

The festival was organised by Cultural, Dramatics and Entertainment Society (CDES) in which the artistes from all over universities of the county displayed their skills and enthralled the audience.

The participants said that it was a great moment for them to come out from the shadows of tight semester system and heavy study load while enjoying the performance of the artistes.The artistes displayed their skills before a packed hall.

The festival was a remarkable blend of traditions, cultural aspects, styles and disciplines of dance and drama. In the comedies and plays some of them were amazing.Adnan Jahangir, a well-known dancer stole the show with outstanding performance along with his troupe. Jahangir regularly visits the GIK Institute. He said, “In the last few years he did not miss the GIK festival.
