KARACHI: Faizan Khan recovered from 1-2 set down to beat Kabeer Alam in the summit clash of U19 event in Karachi Gymkhana Sindh Ranking Squash championship on Sunday.
Faizan faced tough resistance from Kabeer before he recorded a 12-10, 7-11, 8-11, 11-7, 11-6 victory. In boys U15 climax, Talha Alam defeated Naveed Rehman 11-6, 8-11, 11-6, 11-7.
Noor ul Huda clinched girls U19 title after beating Amina Fayyaz in straight sets 11-6, 11-8, 11-8.
In Masters Men’s 35-39 Age Group, Jahangir Khan Jr overpowered Faisal Mesiya in straight sets 11-4, 11-8, 11-8.
In Master’s Men’s 40-44 Age Group event, Zohair Agha defeated Abdul Saeed in straight sets 12-10, 11-8, 11-9.
Aslam Pervaz thrashed Abid Butt 11-6, 14-12, 11-8 and claimed Masters Men’s 45 & Above Age Group title.
