CHARSADDA: Awami National Party (ANP) President Asfandyar Wali Khan said on Sunday that withdrawing security detail from those who were on the hit-list of the terrorists was an injudicious decision. Addressing workers' convention in Qazikhel here, he said that ANP fought the terrorists with full force and the party was still on their hit-list. "We will get a case registered against the Chief Justice of Pakistan if a single ANP worker was harmed," he warned. Asfandyar said that the act of swearing by the Holy Quran by women lawmakers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in their bid to reject the allegations of selling their votes in the Senate election was a slap in the face of Imran Khan. "The statement of Ji chief Sirajul Haq about the election of the Senate chairman is enough for opening their eyes," he remarked. The ANP leader held JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party head Mehmood Khan Achakzai responsible for delay in the merger of Fata with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. About the revival of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal, Asfandyar said it had nothing to do with Islam, adding the MMA leaders had fixed their eyes on Islamabad.
