Weekly day-off for cops
LAHORE : SP Cantt Bilal Zafar has announced weekly day-off for police officers, including SDPOs and SHOs of the Cantt division. The officials now can have one weekly holiday. SP Cantt Bilal Zafar said the basic purpose of the step was to provide one holiday to police officers of Cantt division to serve public with commitment. During the weekly holiday, the additional charge of the post of the SDPO will be given to other SDPO and the charge of the post SHO to additional SHO. The facility has been given to all SDPOs and SHOs of Cantt division after the approval from DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf. All officers can avail the facility from the coming Monday. Police officials of all police stations can also avail themselves the facility in the coming days after approval from the competent authority.
