NAB suspends its Sukkur deputy director on graft charges

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday suspended its Sukkur acting Deputy Director Kashif Mumtaz Gondal on charges of corruption, misconduct for three months.
Following his suspension, an inquiry has been ordered against him on the charges of corruption and misconduct. According to NAB, its Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal, while assuming the office, had warned all the Bureau officers to refrain from indulging in corruption as the corrupt had no place in the Bureau, and necessary action would be taken against the officials involved in violation of laws.
