Shahbaz meets business community in Karachi

KARACHI: Punjab Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday attended a luncheon with the leading businessmen at the Governor House in Karachi.

The meeting was organised by senior PML-N leader Mirza Ishtiaq Baig and it was attended by Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair, Federal Minister Mushahid Ullah, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed and a large number of leading businessmen.

Mirza Ishtiaq Baig thanked Shahbaz Sharif for an interaction with the business community and gave credit to the PML-N for restoring law and order in Karachi, eliminating loadshedding and announcing the Amnesty scheme on the demand of the business community.

Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that he was happy to visit Karachi which used to be city of lights and was considered as a beautiful city like Beirut. He assured more frequent visits and interaction with the business community.

Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair highlighted the infrastructural development of the government for the metropolis. A large number of leading businessmen representing FPCCI, APTMA, KATI and OCCI attended the meeting and supported the PML-N. The prominent of them were S M Muneer, Aqeel Karim Dhedi, Byram Avari, Yasin Malik, Zahid Saeed, VP FPCCI, Asif Iman, Chairman APTMA, Tariq Malik, President KATI, Mirza Ikhtiar Baig and others.
