FAISALABAD: The newly-constructed church in the Christian Colony Shahbaz Town, University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) was inaugurated on Sunday.
The church, which was constructed at a cost of Rs7.6 million, will provide an opportunity of worship to 350 Christian employees of the university and their families. The church was inaugurated by UAF Vice Chancellor Dr M Iqbal Zafar, Bishop Joseph Arshad, Father Younus Inayat and Father Kamran Taj. The VC congratulated the Christian community, saying as per the vision of Quaid-e-Azam, all minorities have equal rights to worship in the country.
