Tribesmen protest occupation of land

LANDIKOTAL: A score of Khugakhel tribesmen Friday staged a protest rally in Landikotal bazaar against occupation of land in Torkham.
Led by Torkham transporters president Zarqeeb Shinwari and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Landikotal leader Abdur Raziq Shinwari, the protesters marched from the Bacha Khan Chowk and gathered outside Landikotal Press Club.
They said that some of the Khugakhel elders were also paid bribse by the officials to support the illegal occupation of their land in Torkham. Speaking on the occasion, Zarqeeb Shinwari said that their land was being grabbed gradually in Torkham bazaar. They warned of staging a protest outside the Governor's House if the agreement was not declared null and void.
