Two friends killed in truck-bike collision From Our Correspondent GUJRANWALA: Two friends were killed in an accident at Alipur Chowk in Aroop police limits on Thursday. Irfan, 28, of Civil Lines and Awais, 26, of Asghar Ali Road were on their way when a truck hit their motorcycle. As a result, they were killed on the spot while the truck driver escaped. Police are investigating.
Two dacoits escape from lockup From Our Correspondent GUJRANWALA: Two dangerous dacoits fled from police custody here on Thursday. Ladhewala police post had arrested dacoits Usman and Qadir and detained them in the lockup. On the day of the incident, the dacoits escaped by breaking the lockup roof.
