TLYR extends deadline till April 12
LAHORE: Tehrik Labbaik Ya Rasoolallah (TLYR) on Friday extended for seven days the deadline for the government to implement the Faizabad agreement and warned that if it was not implemented until April 12, 4pm, then entire nation would be given a call to take to the streets against the government on the 13th.
Addressing media on Friday, Pir Afzal Qadri and Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi vowed to continue the Data Darbar sit-in until the Faizabad agreement was implemented by the government in letter and spirit.
Afzal Qadri said TLYR vowed to make the rulers implement the agreement at every cost and its workers and the entire nation were ready to offer every sacrifice for the noble cause of upholding the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat. He said so far government had only implemented one point of the agreement that called for lifting the ban on mosque loudspeakers, but warned that if government did not implement the remaining points, the responsibility of the consequences would be on the government. He warned that if government arrested TLYR leadership it would intensify the movement.
