LAHORE: Foreign players of several countries have confirmed their participation in the inaugural season of the Pakistan Super Kabaddi League planned to take place in Lahore in April-May this year. An official of the Pkaistan Kabaddi Federation informed that the SKL is in contact with the federations of several countries to make sure their players take part in the League. He said that they have approached Bangladesh, India, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Kenya, Korea, Malaysia, Poland, Sri-Lanka, Thailand, Turkmenistan, UK and USA and have got positive response. Kabaddi has gained enormous public attention globally in the recent years, resulting which several of above mentioned countries have produced noteworthy players of the game. “We are very hopeful to welcome top talent from several countries in SKL. PKF is playing a pivotal role in ensuring participation of international players in the League. The League is going to bring the best in the sporting field together in Pakistan and the people shall re-discover how engaging and entertaining Kabaddi can be for all age groups” remarked Haider Ali Daud, Chairman Super Kabaddi League confidently.
