PESHAWAR: Former squash world champion Jansher Khan at a meeting with Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Law Arif Yousaf discussed ways to promote the sports.
Muhammad Saleh Khan, a member of the Town-III Peshawar, was also present during the meeting.
The public representatives praised the squash legend Jansher Khan for his services to the game and assured him of reviving the squash game in the province in general and Peshawar in particular.
There was an emphasis to promote squash by launching squash coaching academies in the entire province.
Arif Yousaf and Muhammad Saleh Khan pointed out that the prominent squash players who ruled the world for 40 years belonged to Peshawar, which was a matter of a great pride.
Jansher Khan thanked the special assistant and the Local Government representative for their love and support for the sports, especially squash.
