LAHORE: Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Principal Prof Dr Ghias-un-Nabi Tayyab called upon the students to participate in co-curricular activities for better physical and mental growth.
He was addressing the concluding ceremony of three-day All Pakistan Parliamentary Debating Championship ‘Damer-18’. Competition’s Management Committee Chairman Prof Dr Farooq Afzal was also present on the occasion.
Prof Ghias-un-Nabi lauded the efforts of Debating Society’s President Afsheen Nasir, Vice-President Asad-Ullah Farooq, Finance Secretary Ahmed Faraz Tarrar and others on holding debating competition.
The topics of debating contest were education, politics, interfaith harmony, philosophy, health, technology and international relations. In Urdu debates FCC College while in English debates Lahore Law College got first positions respectively.
