Siraj wants govt to move world against Kashmiris’ genocide
LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Senator Sirajul Haq condemned India’s state terrorism in Held Kashmir and demanded the government to launch a diplomatic campaign to move world against the bloodshed and genocide of Kashmiri Muslims.
In a statement Monday, he condemned the silence of rulers over the relentless killings in Kashmir valley by Indian occupant army. He said Indian army and police martyred dozens of innocent Kashmiris. Sirajul Haq said Israel was killing Palestinians in Gaza and India was killing Kashmiris the same way. The blood of the Muslims was being shed in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan but neither OIC nor Muslim rulers were taking notice.
He said it was the responsibility of the government of Pakistan to raise its voice against the atrocities of Indian troops in the valley. He said the silence of the government had disappointed the Kashmiris. He said Kashmiris were being buried in the Pakistani flag and the Pakistani flag was being seen in every nook and corner of Held Kashmir. But, unfortunately, the rulers in Islamabad were not ready to utter a word in the support of the Kashmiris.
Meanwhile, JI Secretary General Liaqat Baloch, while addressing workers meeting at Mansoora, demanded the Supreme Court to appoint a JIT for probe into the horse-trading in Senate elections. He said Senate elections were a slur on the face of democracy, while the prime minister and heads of other political parties were openly accusing the Senators of purchasing votes and media had exposed all those involved in the evil. He said horse-trading of assembly members should not be kept hidden under cover of the development in Balochistan.
