Theft accused commits suicide in Central Jail From Our Correspondent GUJRANWALA: An under trial prisoner committed suicide in the Central Jail here on Tuesday. Javed, 30, of Lahore committed suicide by strangling himself in the jail. Hafizabad City police had arrested him in a theft case and shifted him to the jail on Monday. The jail officials have handed over the body of Javed to his family for burial. Meanwhile, in his suicide note, accused Javed said that his in-laws had implicated him in a case. He said that he had gone to Hafizabad to bring his estranged wife back but his in-laws refused.
