Youth Olympic hockey qualifiers from April 25

ISLAMABAD: 2014 Youth Olympic hockey finalist Pakistan were placed in easy group for the qualifiers starting in Bangkok, Thailand) from April 25-29.
Pakistan were beaten by Australia 1-2 in the inaugural Youth Olympic final in 2014. Four years down the line Pakistan is now playing the qualifying round for the Youth Olympics and has been placed in Group B alongside Malaysia, Bangladesh, Singapore, Chinese Taipei and Cambodia. Pool A consists of India, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong China and hosts Thailand.
Oman that has recently played draw against Pakistan has already pulled out of the competition. The five aside event that is being played between the players aging 15-18 would see top two teams making it to the Youth Olympics to be held later in Argentina.
