Now the Pakhtuns should back me and I will definitely come back to save Pakistan,” he said while speaking to a gathering through the video link.

The former president was all praise for the Pakhtuns for their traits such as bravery, truthfulness and determination.
“The Pakhtuns are patriotic people. They are with Pakistan. How can Pakhtuns remain silent when the country is in a critical phase? I seek support from the Pakhtuns to save the country,” he added.
The former military ruler said the present rulers were good for nothing. “They are taking the country to nowhere. They have no consideration for the future of the country. This system will have to be rectified,” he went on to say.
The APML chief said he ruled the country for almost 10 years.” I can say with a sense of ride that those 10 years were the best years of the country history. We were not corrupt.
