Free medical camp at NPC

Islamabad: A free medical camp was organised by the Shifa Foundation in collaboration with Rotary Club at the National Press Club (NPC) here for the media personnel and general public.

The services provided there included tests for diabetes and regular check-up. More than 170 people benefitted from the camp. The event was organised in collaboration with the Rotary Club Islamabad.

“Our aim is to make basic health services accessible to all, considering that medical health care is not affordable for everyone,” said Adil Rauf, a representative of the Shifa Foundation. He said the Shifa Foundation had its special focus on improving the status of health, nutrition and basic human rights of deserving communities all over Pakistan while maintaining the dignity of the people being served.
