‘Install scanners to control city traffic’

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court Bar Association (PHCBA) has asked the federal and provincial governments to replace the military checkposts in the city by installing latest scanners to end traffic problems and botheration of people.
The emergency general body meeting of PHCBA was called at the PHC Barroom on Tuesday after receiving complaints from the lawyers that they were unnecessarily stopped by the soldiers on the military check-posts in the Cantonment areas while coming to the high court for appearing in the cases.
PHCBA President Muhammad Essa Khan, General Secretary Muhammad Ayaz Khan and senior members, including Shaukat Khan, Arif Khan, Prof Nazir, Shah Faisal, Jehangir Khan and Ghulam Nabi addressed the meeting.
