KARACHI: The parliamentary leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Sindh Assembly Khurrum Sher Zaman, has submitted a condemnation resolution at the Sindh Assembly's secretariat against Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for his remarks against Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani. Sher Zaman along with PTI MPAs Samar Ali Khan and Dr. Seema Zia submitted the condemnation resolution on Wednesday. He said “the shameful and derogatory comments of the Prime Minister of Pakistan show his disdain for the democratic process by which Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani was elected and is an attempt to undermine the chairman's authority." The PTI parliamentary leader said the prime minister’s remarks shows disrespect for the people of Balochistan. Instead of rejoicing that finally, someone from Balochistan has become the Chairman Senate, the prime minister has engaged in petty politics. Sher Zaman said as a nation, we must express solidaritywith Balochistan and try to remove the feelings of alienation among the people there. However, it appears that the PM is more interested in keeping the people divided rather than to heal wounds of neglect and disaffection. The PTI resolution also demanded an apology from the prime minister to both the Chairman Senate as well as the people of Balochistan.
