Two men, woman remanded to police in murder case
Three suspected killers of a young man were remanded to the police for interrogation. Two men, Arif Nawabzad and Shahrukh, and a woman, Zartaj Bibi, were produced before a judicial magistrate of District West on Saturday.
The investigation officer (IO) told the court that the accused had developed a personal enmity with the victim, Pervez. The three allegedly hatched a criminal conspiracy and stabbed him to death with a sharp-edged knife.
The IO said that the suspects had killed Pervez out of jealousy because he was very intelligent and good at studying in Ittehad Town. The case against the killers was lodged by the mother of the deceased. She accused them of killing her son brutally. The IO prayed to the court to grant 14-day physical remand of the suspects. The court allowed the plea.
