Zarnab, Afaq reached Asian U-19 Beach Volleyball semis
LAHORE: Zarnab and Afaq made Pakistan proud as they reached the semi-final of Asian U-19 Beach Volleyball Championship at Thailand.
In the first match today, Pakistan played against Laos and won the match with 2-0 sets qualifying for the quarter final. In the quarter final Pakistan played against Oman which had won from Japan and Pakistan succeeded in winning in a very tough match with a score of 2-1 sets. By this victory Pakistan has qualified amongst the top 4 teams i.e. Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand and Kazakhstan. In the semi-final on 25 March, 2018 (morning) Pakistan will play against Indonesia and Thailand will play against Kazakhstan. The final will be played between the winners of the two semifinalists in the evening also on 25 March, 2018 and will decide the winner of the Asian U-19 Beach Volleyball Championship and qualifier of Summer Youth Olympic Games 2018 in Buenos Aires.
