Body to investigate boy's murder in Pakpattan

LAHORE: On the instructions of the chief minister, a three-member committee has been constituted to investigate the murder of a 12-year-old boy after rape in Pakpattan. Additional IG Malik Abu Bakkar will be the convener of the committee. DIG Muhammad Waqas Nazir and an expert from the Punjab Forensic Science Lab will also be part of the committee. The committee will investigate the incident from all aspects and present its report to the chief minister in three days. Earlier, CM Shahbaz Sharif had taken notice of the murder of Hassan, a seven grade student, and sought a report from the Punjab IG.
