KARACHI: An international volleyball referees course will start at WAPDA Sports Complex, Lahore, from Monday (today).
The course, which will conclude on March 20, is being held by Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) in collaboration with FIVB, the international volleyball governing body.
FIVB has allotted the course to PVF under Volleyball Cooperation Programme (VCP).
The course will be attended by 30 national referees from Army, Navy, Air Force, WAPDA, Police, Railways, Pakistan Education Boards, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, Higher Education Commission and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
PVF said on Sunday that FIVB had sent its international course director. PVF chief Chaudhry Mohammad Yaqoob hoped that the course would benefit the national referees. He said those referees who attended the course would be sent abroad for attending international referees candidate course.
