Rs1.7m okayed for Hazara University

MANSEHRA: The Planning Commission has sanctioned Rs1.7 million announced by deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif for various development projects at Hazara University.
A press release issued by HU said that deposed prime minister had announced to provide funds for certain projects during his visit to the university some two years ago. “Now federal government formally approved the project and soon the money would also be released,” it added.
It further said that the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan also played and important role in sanction of the projects. Vice-Chancellor Dr Mohammad Idrees appreciated the release of funds.
