The Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus (German Cultural Centre Lahore) and the Institute of Art and Culture held a world premier of social ads created for the Pakistan Red Crescent Society during a 10-day film workshop with German film director and writer Marc Brummund in the garden of the Annemarie-Shimmel-Haus.
Social ads made by teams of 18 students and teachers from National College of Arts, Beaconhouse National University and a private university were screened which conveyed messages like when 'we care, we volunteer' and 'you could save lives if you know first aid'. There was a film that highlighted 'blood donor as a hero'. Another showed a child lost for a while. Red Crescent has a helpline 1030 to seek help if someone is lost.
